    This is an original Civil War bayonet that we dug from an 1860s outhouse privy pit in New Orleans....it is 20 1/2"long and has a 3 sided blade....fits over a 5/8"rifle barrel..no marks that I can see.  Dug with normal pitting and rust. Provenance will be shared with the buyer
