    Description

    Bayonet and scabbard are in excellent shape as pictured.
    Bayonet has great bluing still present with the exception of the locking ring which might have been a replacement since it shows some bluing but has more wear than the rest of the bayonet.
    Leather scabbard is solid and has a nice broad arrow stamp over WD as pictured.
    In Ian Skennerton's book, British and Commonwealth Bayonets,
    F. PRESTON of Ancoats Bridge Works supplied India Company with bayonets.
