    Civil War Non-Regulation Foot Officer Sword US Eagle-Clauberg Soligen 1861-1865. Condition is Used.
    This is a fabulous sword from the Civil War era belonging to non-regulation foot officers produced by Clauberg Solingen.
    The specs are as follow:
    Slightly curved 32 inch (81.28 cm) Iron Proof blade with two panels etched with scrolling florals, the uppermost with US on one side and Federal eagle on the other. Ricasso with maker’s marking for W. Clauberg.
    Brass hilt of varient form, the guard in the British style with cut-out of Federal eagle and small US, the pommel of French form as the Model 1850 Foot Officer’s sword. Grey shagreen-covered grip bound with three strands of brass wire. Brass-mounted blued iron scabbard.
