Fulper Pottery Spirit of St Louis Musical Jug, Blue/Green with Silver Overlay
Hard to find design commemorating Charles Lindbergh's solo transatlantic flight in 1927. Attractive flambe glaze transitions from green to blue. Silver overlay in a honeycomb design, small birds, and Spirit of St Louis airplane. Removable music box insert in base.
Condition:  No chips cracks or repairs to pottery. Stopper is slightly dented on top. Cork is still in excellent condition. A very thin strip of silver has peeled off the inside edge of the rim - not noticeable when stopper is in place . Music box does not play.
Marks:  Fulper oval stamp under base. Music box label has mostly peeled off.
Dimensions:  8 3/4" high with stopper, 7.5" high without; 5 3/4" wide at widest point
